Christmas Market Nuremberg

The Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt is one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany. The pre-Christmas fair on Nurembergs main market square can be traced back to the middle of the 16th century.
Martin Luther promoted the Christ Child or Christkindl as a gift bringer and the date of giving gifts changed from December 6 to Christmas Eve. But now she has strong competition from Santa Claus as gift bringer.
